31 thousand soldiers of Ukraine were killed in the war

President of the country Volodymyr Zelensky said that 31,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in the war with Russia in two years.

He claimed that hundreds of thousands of civilians have died in the territory of Ukraine occupied by Russian forces.

He said these things at a conference in the capital Kiev on Sunday. News from CNN.

Zelensky said, I don't want to say how many soldiers were injured in the war. If this number is released, it will help in the military strategy for Russia.

According to US officials, about 70,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in the war. Almost twice as many were injured.
