A young man was killed by a robber in Dhaka, he did not go to Australia

A software engineer named Jarraf Ahmed (31) was killed by robbers in Darussalam police station area of ​​the capital. At that time, the robber fled with two mobile phones, a laptop and money.

It is known that Jarraf got married four months ago. After marriage his wife went to Australia for higher studies. A few days later Zarraf was also supposed to leave. He left his job in Dhaka for this reason. But he was not allowed to go to Australia. Recently Pritam went to the village. Jarraf Ahmed Pritam died after being stabbed by a robber on his way back to Dhaka from the village.

On Tuesday (August 27) morning, he was robbed early on his way to Mirpur No. 1 from the capital's Technical Junction. He resisted when the robbers wanted to take his belongings there. Meanwhile, the robbers stabbed Jarraf Ahmed Pritam and fled.

Pritam's village home is in Najipur village of Naogaon. His father's name is Badruzzaman. Jarraf Ahmed Pritam worked in Mirpur and lived in a rented house there.

On Wednesday (August 28) afternoon, Mir Piyas, the brother-in-law of the deceased Pritam, said that he left for Dhaka from the village on Tuesday night. He got off the bus at Gabtali early in the morning and was going to Mirpur. On the way, he was robbed at around 5 am in Mirpur No. 1 area. At that time, the robbers took away the laptop and necessary things with him. When he resisted, they stabbed him. He died on the spot.

He said that Pritam was supposed to go to Australia after a few days. That's why he quit his job. But he died back in Dhaka. This news was not informed to his father. Because his father had an open heart surgery a few days ago. They could not tell the news to Pritam's wife either.

The deceased Pritam's brother-in-law also said, “We searched for him in various places throughout the day on Tuesday.” Later in the evening, Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital mortuary was not found. Later I came to know that Pritam's body is there. We got the body on Wednesday (28 August). His body will be buried in the village.

Pritam's cousin Kaniz filed a complaint in the Sharmin police station.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Darus Salam Police Station Rezaul Karim said that a young man named Pritam was robbed and killed. We have not arrested or identified anyone in this incident so far.

As the reason, SI Rezaul said that the area where Pritam was robbed was not seen in any CCTV camera. However, we are investigating the matter.
