Detention of vice chairman candidate 4 while consuming drugs

The police arrested three other candidates including the vice chairman of Aditmari Upazila Parishad of Lalmonirhat while consuming drugs.

They were arrested from the abandoned railway building adjacent to the Model Mosque on the south side of the court building in Lalmonirhat town on Monday night.

The arrested are Russell Mahfuz alias Dentist (38) son of deceased Abdur Rashid of Khatapara area of ​​Saptibari Union of Aditmari Upazila and Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman candidate, Noor Islam (36) son of deceased Apur Ali of Taluk Khutamara area, Mostafizur Rahman son of deceased Hossain Ahmed of Model Mosque area. 52) and Nurey Hasan Siddique (32), son of deceased Fazlar Rahman of Madinapara area.

Omar Farooq, officer-in-charge of Lalmonirhat Sadar police station, said that the accused have been arrested and sent to the learned court.
