On the occasion of Independence Day, Metropolitan Press Club organized a discussion meeting and Iftar at Checkers Restaurant in Uttara of the capital.
Metropolitan Press Club president H.R. Habir was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting. Arup Ratan Chowdhury. Mahmoud Al Faisal was the main negotiator. Maksudel Hossain Khan and Arif Hossain Nishir were present as special guests.
General Secretary of Metropolitan Press Club Mizan Bin Noor, Editor of Daily Swadhin Sanbad Anwar Hossain Akash, News Editor of Daily Navchetna Atiqur Rahman, City Editor of Morning Time Jamil Ahmed, President of Rabian Uttara Habibur Rahman Sardar, General Secretary Abu Taher, prominent plasma also spoke on the occasion. Members of the Metropolitan Press Club including scientist Mushfaq Rashid.
Ijaz, Nargis, Rana, Mizan and Mohsin hosted the program in coordination with Salim Raza. After the discussion, iftar mahfil was organized.
