Chittagong, Rangamati, Khagrachari, Moulvibazar and Habiganj districts have been flooded. In these places, Aman's paddy fields have sunk, he used to eat vegetables. Farmers in many areas are unable to plant Aman paddy due to high water in the fields.

Roads are submerged, water is also entering houses. Fishermen including low income people are in trouble due to rising water. Several fish cages have already been washed away. All in all, the people of the various flood-affected districts have been subjected to immense suffering.

Normal education activities are expected to be disrupted due to rising water in 8 government primary schools of North Charbanshi and Charababil UP along the Meghna River in Raipur Upazila of Laxmipur. 55 villages in Parashuram upazila and 30 villages in Fulgazi upazila were flooded in the third phase after water entered through the previous breach of the Muhuri-Kahua-Silonia flood control dam.

Due to the sinking of the road in Kabakhali area of ​​Khagrachari-Sajek road, the traffic of the entire country along with Sajek has stopped. Noakhali and Companyganj: The water trapped people of Noakhali have sought the army's help in rescuing the canal and draining the water. Most of the low-lying areas of Sadar, Senbagh, Sonaimuri, Chatkhil, Begumganj, Kabirhat, Companyganj, Subarnachar upazilas of the district have been flooded. The residents of these upazilas have suffered endlessly.

According to the Meteorological Office, 174 millimeters of rain fell between 6 am on Monday and 6 am on Tuesday. Rain continues during the day. Rezaul Haque, a resident of Paschim Char Uria of Sadar Upazila of the district, said that the water has risen around the house due to heavy rains for several days. The road is submerged. Sahab Uddin, a resident of Companiganj upazila, said that the roads have sunk and now the water has entered people's houses. Everything was washed away, including the fish enclosure. Rubel, a resident of Kabirhat Upazila, said, “We have to walk with knee-deep water.” Executive Engineer of Water Development Board Noakhali, Munshi Amir Faisal said, Noakhali has received a record amount of rain. Which has not happened in the last 20 years.

Raipur and Kamalnagar (Laxmipur): In Lakshmipur's Raipur, Meghna river has inundated localities 4 km away from the river area with a tide of about 10 feet higher than normal. At least 8 government primary schools have become unusable for teaching due to high tide and 5 days of continuous rain along the embankment along the Meghna River. This has caused fear of teaching stop among the teachers and students of the institutions in Char region.

Feni: Many villages including 55 villages of Parashuram municipality and three unions and 30 villages of three unions of Fulgazi upazila were inundated. The waters of the Muhuri-Kahua-Ceylonia rivers are flowing 55 cm above the water line at Parashuram and Fulgazi points. The first phase on July 1 and the second phase on August 2 of this year caused the breach of the Muhuri-Kuhua-Silonia river flood control dam and flooded hundreds of villages in the two upazilas.

In Kamalnagar, 976 hectares of Aman paddy seed beds have rotted. Due to shortage of seeds, it is not possible to create new seedbeds.

Faridganj (Chandpur): Flooding has occurred in Chandpur's Faridganj municipal area and remote areas of the village. Fish enclosures, public roads, homesteads, agricultural fields, poultry farms, business establishments were inundated. Millions of people lost power due to fallen trees.

Mirsarai (Chittagong): Thousands of families in Mirsarai have become watertight. They are spending sleepless nights in fear of house collapse due to accumulation of rain water. Waterlogging has occurred in various villages of Khaiachra, Mirsarai, Moghadia, Mithanala, Kerrhat, Hinguli, Bariyarhat municipality, lower area of ​​Mirsarai municipality, Zorarganj, Katachra, Durgapur, Osmanpur and Wahedpur unions of the upazila.

Nangalkot and Chandina (Comilla): Many roads in Comilla's Nangalkot have been submerged. Waterlogging has occurred in rural areas including the municipal headquarters. In this, water has entered houses in low-lying areas, river areas, schools, madrasas and asylum projects. 3 playgrounds of Chandina Upazila Sadar have been submerged in water.

Reed: In Khagrachari, the water level of Chengi and Maini rivers has increased and the low-lying areas have been flooded. Water has risen in at least more than 50 villages in the entire district. People living on the banks of the river in suburban and municipal areas have suffered as the water inundated the low-lying areas three times in the last two months. Residents of these areas have taken shelter in local educational institutions. Merung Union was the most affected by the flood. Due to the sinking of the road in the area of ​​Merung headquarters on the Khagrachari-Longdu road, the road communication between Rangamati and Longdu has been closed.

Clay: There have been reports of landslides in different parts of the district. Traffic is temporarily disrupted due to collapse on various roads. District administration officials are monitoring the situation by visiting the landslide prone area of ​​Rangamati city. The district administration issued a warning through microphones in the city instructing the vulnerable people living on the slopes and foothills to move to safe places or shelters.

Rangamati has been experiencing moderate to heavy rains intermittently for 5 consecutive days. There is a risk of landslides and flooding of low-lying areas in the city and district.

gullible: Waterlogging has occurred in Bhola. The attendance of students in most of the educational institutions was not good on Tuesday morning. Water has entered many educational institutions. Meanwhile, the water pressure in the Meghna river is increasing and the turbulent waves are crashing. The ferry has sunk in the tide.

Moulvibazar: Water in Kushiara, Manu, Dhalai and Juri rivers of the district is increasing. The waters of Manu, Dhalai and Juri rivers in the district are rising and flowing over the boundary line. 15 cm of dangerous limit in Manu Nader railway bridge, 13 cm in Chandnighat, 151 cm in Juri river. And 33 cm of floodplain in Dhalai river. Water is flowing over. Erosion has occurred at 3 places due to rising water in Dhalai river. At some places of the Baralekha-Kulaura regional highway, water is overflowing on the road. It is disrupting the movement of vehicles on the road.

Chunarughat (Habiganj): Lower areas and roads of at least 20 villages of 8 unions of Habiganj's Chunarughat upazila have been submerged in water. The Khoai River is flowing 121 cm above the water line at Balla Point. Besides, many villages have been flooded by overflowing water of Khoai and Karangi rivers.
