Bangladesh Railway has canceled the weekend of two trains on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. Sonar Bangla will leave from Chittagong to Dhaka and Akoost Express from Dhaka to Noakhali on Tuesday, the pre-scheduled weekly closure day.
Railway Eastern Deputy Director Public Relations Officer Aminul Islam said that two trains (Sonar Bangla and Akoost Express) were closed for the week on Tuesday. It has been withdrawn.
'Passengers can collect tickets for these two trains online and from the counter.' – he added.
It is known that Sonar Bangla will leave Chittagong at 5:30 pm and Coastal Express will leave Dhaka at 3:10 pm.
