New schedule for vacation in Supreme Court from Sunday

The Supreme Court will be on vacation from next Sunday (September 8) to October 17.

The Chief Justice has fixed the office schedule of the Appellate Division from Sunday to Thursday (excluding weekends and public holidays) from September 8 to October 17 during the long vacation of the Supreme Court.

Working hours from Sunday to Thursday are from 9 am to 3 pm. Friday and Saturday are weekends.

In another circular, it has been informed that the Supreme Court of Bangladesh has appointed a vacation judge of the Appellate Division.

It is said that the Chief Justice will be a vacation judge during the vacation of the court from September 8 to October 17 to resolve urgent matters related to the case of the Appellate Division. Nominated Rezaul Haque.

Justice Md. Rezaul Haque will take hearing in the Chamber Court of Appellate Division on 9th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 23rd, 24th and 30th of September and on 2nd, 7th, 8th, 16th and 17th of October from 11 am through physical presence.

In addition, the Chief Justice has constituted several Benches with specific jurisdiction to dispose of matters relating to urgent cases in the High Court Division. Source: Bass.
