Sakib and Ferdous are accused in the same murder case

Former Member of Parliament of Magura-1 Constituency and national team star cricketer Shakib Al Hasan and former Member of Parliament of Dhaka-10 Constituency and film actor Ferdous Ahmed. A case of murder has been registered in Adabar police station of Dhaka as the person who ordered the killing of Rubel. Both of them became parliamentarians in the 12th National Parliament nominated by Awami League.
Inspector (Investigation) of Adabar police station confirmed the case on Friday (August 23). Nazrul Islam. Earlier on Thursday, Rubel's father, Rafiqul Islam, filed the case as the plaintiff. However, on August 5, a garment factory worker, Rubel, was shot dead during clashes demanding the quota reform movement and later the fall of the government. He later died under treatment.
According to police sources, Shakib Al Hasan, the former Member of Parliament of Magura-1 Constituency, has been made the 28th accused in the case. And the former Member of Parliament of Dhaka-10 Constituency Ferdous Ahmed has been made accused number 55. 156 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader have been made accused in this case. Another 400-500 unidentified people have been accused in this.
Plaintiff Rafiqul Islam alleged in the statement of the case that the Sheikh Hasina government collapsed on August 5. On that day, Rubel took part in the procession at Ring Road in Adabar. At that time, the defendants were fired in the procession with the direct and indirect instruction, encouragement, help, cooperation and support. Rubel was hospitalized with gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen. However, he died on August 7 while undergoing treatment in the hospital.
