The death of a rape victim in Magura was held at Jessore Science and Technology University (Jabiprabi). At the same time, the teachers and students of the university protested demanding the hanging of the rapists.

The funeral was held in front of the central mosque of Jabiprabi on Thursday (March 7) at 7pm. After the funeral, the protests ended with a brief statement in front of the main gate to demand the maximum punishment of the rapists.

Tanvir Ahmed, a teacher of the Department of Nutrition and Food Technology, said, “We are all terrified of those who have children in our society.” Now the question is what is the solution? If there is an illness for example, it can be resolved in two ways.

First to prevent the disease. Secondly to arrange for cure. Now the way crime has increased in our society now we have to do healing. Which is not possible without strict legislation and implementation. I think our country has weaknesses in the law. I think the culprits like the rapist should be given exemplary punishment. Then if someone commits such a crime, his heart will shake, that the punishment for this crime can be terrible! Lastly I demand the highest punishment by speeding the rapists of Achia.

“We mourn the death of our sister Achia,” the students said. Magura's child Asia rapists demand the maximum punishment for the rapid public death. In the future, the rapists should be punished by throwing stones. We want the law to be implemented in Bangladesh or those who do criminal acts like rape, to be punished by throwing stones publicly on the basis of appropriate evidence. So that someone a second time before committing such a crime.

The students also said that through the agitation of 20, we got new Bangladesh. But why the law of 12 will still be law? Why does it take about 5 days to get the rapist punishment? We want the rapist to be punished by throwing stones publicly through speedy trial.
