Born on Dec. 16, 1960, Sid Eudy began his professional wrestling career in 1987 at Continental Championship Wrestling as a masked wrestler known as Lord Humongous.

After competing in multiple promotions, he would soon move to World Class Championship Wrestling and adopt the moniker Sid Vicious, taken from the well-known bass player for the Sex Pistols

In 1989, Eudy signed with World Championship Wrestling (WCW), serving as a member of The Skyscrapers with Danny Spivey and The Four Horsemen after the latter reformed in 1989.

In 1991, Eudy signed with the World Wrestling Federation, now World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), under the name Sid Justice. At WrestleMania VIII, Eudy faced Hulk Hogan in the main event, although he lost via disqualification.

After making a return to WCW and a sting in the United States Wrestling Association, Eudy would return to WWE in 1995, but would have to leave due to a neck injury.

Eudy returned from injury in 1996 with a new gimmick: Sycho Sid. As Sycho Sid, Eudy’s popularity skyrocketed. He defeated Shaw Michaels at Survivor Series 1996 to win the WWF Championship.

Despite losing the title back to Michaels at the 1997 Royal Rumble, the Heartbreak Kid soon vacated it due to being unable to wrestle. Eudy would go on to win the title for a second time after Stone Cold Steve Austin interfered in his match against Bret Hart.

Eudy lost the title again when facing the Undertaker in the main event of WrestleMania 13. He was soon released again by WWE after needing surgery due to another neck injury.

Eudy then returned to WCW where he would win the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship once and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice.

Unfortunately, his time with WCW would come to a quick end after a near career-ending injury. After being told he would never run again, Eudy made it his personal goal to do so.

Eudy would make sporadic appearances around the globe until 2012 when he made his return to WWE for the first time since 1997. He wrestled his last match on Aug. 5, 2017.

To this day, Eudy remains an underrated part of the Attitude Era of professional wrestling. He is survived by his wife Sabrina Paige and his children Frank Eudy and Gunnar Eudy.
