Begum Khaleda mastered the role of Zia!

Legendary lyricist-producer and director Ghazi Mazharul Anwar produced a film on former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. Which is titled 'Uncompromising'. Actress Nipun Akhter played the central role in this film.

It is known that the film is a biopic of uncompromising leader Begum Khaleda Zia. Its shooting was completed secretly a decade ago, i.e. in 2013. BNP was the main opposition party then. However, the film was kept secret when the country's political situation continued to spiral towards instability. Now after 11 years it is going to see the light.

Gazi Mazharul Anwar died in 2022. It is said that he had many dreams about the film. Gazi Mazharul Anwar's son Sarfraz Anwar Upal wants to release the film soon to make his father's dream come true.

He said, we have taken initiatives as a family to convey all the creations of father to people. This is the last film made by Baba. Father's soul will rest in peace. It is not only a film but also a biopic of successful President Ziaur Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia. The audience will know about their love, sacrifice and glory for the country.

Meanwhile, Awami League supporter Nippon Akter in personal life. Telling the behind-the-scenes of joining the film, he told the media that one day Gazi Mazharul Anwar's uncle came to my house. He told about the film. Then the shooting of Shah Alam Kiran Bhai's '71er Ma Janani' is going on. Uncle told me that the film is about the biography of Madam Khaleda Zia. I have to impersonate him. Wanted to know whether I have objections? I said, as an actress, you should play the role of madam. He is a former Prime Minister. Then I will march on the streets as the leader of the opposition. Uncle was very happy that I agreed. He said, Jaya Ahsan and Nusrat Imroz Tisha had come up before me. However, it was Gazi Uncle who told Helal Bhai that if he is skilled, he will match madam's look very well.

Helal Khan plays the role of Ziaur Rahman, the eighth president of Bangladesh in the movie. Filming was completed in December 2013. Then Helal Khan was ready to submit the post production work to the censors. However, this activist of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was arrested before this. He is the leader of the cultural organization Jasas. The plan was to release the film across the country before the 2014 National Assembly elections (January 5). But since Helal Khan was in jail, Gazi Mazharul Anwar could not take any decision about his unconditional release.
