Bangladesh High Commission in Malaysia celebrated Independence and National Day with due dignity.
On Tuesday (March 26) various arrangements were made in the High Commission on the occasion of the day. Bangladesh High Commissioner appointed in Malaysia in the first phase of the organization. Shamim Ahsan formally hoisted the national flag in the presence of expatriate Bangladeshis and High Commission officials. After that, he paid tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with all those present.
Other programs in the second phase of the program included — recitation of speeches by the President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister on the occasion of Independence Day; Documentary exhibition, discussion meeting and special prayers.
