No one survives in Washington's Air-Helicopter collision


The BBC said no more survived in a mid -match clash between a American Airlines regional passenger aircraft and a Black Hawk helicopter by the US Army.

Six bodies have been recovered in the accident near Donald Reagan National Airport in Washington, USA. However, no one was found.

Local authorities have confirmed that six bodies have been recovered so far – out of which 20 are passengers of aircraft and two are members of the helicopter crew.

Washington DC Fire Chief John Doneli said the plane's ruins were found on the Potomac River. However, the cold, heavy air and ice in the river have caused major obstacles to the rescue.

“We will find all the bodies and return them to their relatives,” he said.

The US National Transport Security Board (NTSB) has launched an investigation into the accident and American airlines are fully cooperating. Meanwhile, a diver team recovered a recorder of the aircraft's blackbox. However, the search is underway to collect more information.

The accident could be identified as one of the most horrific aircraft in the United States in the last decade.
