Former General Secretary of Upazila Jubo League in Sarail Upazila Parishad election. Sher Alam was elected by getting 39 thousand 306 votes on the motorcycle symbol. His closest rival and the current chairman of the Upazila Parishad. Rafiq Uddin Tagore got 28 thousand 834 votes in horse symbol.

On the other hand, Upazila Awami League vice-president Roma Akter was elected in the Nasirnagar Upazila Parishad election by getting 34 thousand 1 votes. His nearest rival, the former vice-president of the upazila BNP, Omrao Khan, got 18 thousand 380 votes in the pineapple symbol.
