2 killed along with easybike driver in Gazipur hit by passenger bus

An easybike driver and a passenger were killed after being hit by a passenger bus in Kaliganj of Gazipur. Another person was injured in this incident.

The accident took place on Thursday (June 6) around 12 noon at Nalchata on the Kaliganj-Tongi Ghorashal regional road.

Kaliganj Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Md confirmed the death of 2 people. Shamim Ahmed.

The identity of the deceased driver and passenger was not immediately known. Injured passenger Rumana Afroz (28) wife of Sharif Mia of Chaitarpara village in Kaliganj town area.

SI Shamim Ahmed said that around 12 noon, the easybike driver (25) was killed on the spot when a passenger bus going to Tongi hit an easybike going to Kaliganj in Nalachata area of ​​Kaliganj-Tongi-Ghorasal bypass road. When two more people were injured, the locals rescued them and took them to the Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex. An unidentified (38) passenger died there. Two dead bodies were recovered and kept in Kaliganj police station. He also said that further legal measures are under process in this regard.
