Collapse of Reserve and government cannot be prevented: AB Party

If democracy and good governance are not ensured, the fall of Bangladesh Bank's reserve and five percent illegal dummy government cannot be prevented in any way,' warned Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party.

The party leaders made this comment at a press conference at the party's central office in Vijayanagar on Wednesday afternoon.

AB Party held this press conference to protest economic mismanagement, dollar smuggling in the name of import and export and people suffering due to high commodity prices.

Party convener Solaiman Chowdhury, member secretary Mojibur Rahman Manju and party finance secretary Aminul Islam FCA spoke in it. The party's joint convener BM Nazmul Haque, joint member secretary and office secretary Abdullah Al Mamun Rana, publicity secretary Anwar Sadat Tutul, central leaders including metropolitan north convener Altaf Hossain were present among the leaders.

Solaiman Chowdhury said, it is true that various development projects have been implemented in the country, but has there actually been development? Or looted in the name of development. That has become a big question. He said, the reserve is going to be zero today. Today, the country is stuck in the grip of economic mismanagement. He urged everyone in the country to play a conscious role in this economic crisis.

Mojibur Rahman Manju said that this government wanted to convince the people and intellectuals of the country with the slogan of less democracy and more development that they will make the country a developed country like Singapore and Thailand. Democracy, human rights are not important to them, so called development is important. The government party people and some bureaucrats have built mountains of wealth by deceiving the people by portraying various mega projects. Actually what we can see now, the amount of reserves in the country has reached 13 billion dollars.

Aminul Islam FCA said that the country's financial crisis has started politically and its solution must be political. Soon after this government came to power, the stock market was looted in 2010, as a result of which we saw the tears of the people of the country. All current financial crises have been caused by this kind of political looting. Therefore, there is no way to overcome the crisis without the fall of those who systematically robbed people of the country's stock market money, bank money, loan money.
