A fire has occurred in a private jute mill in Rupsa Upazila of Khulna. 8 units of fire service are working to control the fire.
The fire broke out at the jute mill located in Jabusa area on Wednesday (April 3) afternoon. No casualties were immediately reported.
Confirming the truth of the incident, Khulna Fire Service's control room said. Abdul Qadir said, 8 units of the fire service went to the spot after receiving the news of the fire at 5:38 p.m. The fire is under control. Details will be given later.
According to eyewitnesses, it is not known how the fire started in the jute mill. However, shortly after the fire broke out, the fire service personnel arrived and worked to control the fire.
